Location: Ottawa, ON
GoFor provides on-demand delivery of building materials and equipment for the home improvement and construction industries. The GoFor online platform and mobile app can be used for on-demand, urgent deliveries, last mile logistics for scheduled pick-ups and deliveries to commercial and residential customers, and in partnership with owner/operator and vehicle fleets to offer a wide range of heavy vehicle delivery services. GoFor has grown rapidly and currently operates in 45+ urban markets across North America.
Skills & Experience
Tech Experience
Previous experience in marketing a technology powered marketplace and/or a SaaS tool is essential with logistics knowledge being an asset.
Marketing Strategy
Successful track record of establishing and leading marketing strategies in a dynamic environment.
Expertise
Significant expertise building brand awareness and being a thought leader with the ability to execute scalable strategies that drive impactful results.
Action-Oriented
You understand the sense of urgency required in tech, particularly in a start-up environment in which being first to market is key for success.
Motivational Leader

Retail Sector Experience

Summary of the Role
This is an opportunity to lead the strategic direction of marketing and branding for GoFor. Working with the leadership team you will quickly identify the potential customer base and assist in mapping the customer journey.
Marketing will work closely with sales as an integrated team, with marketing driving the lead generation. You will develop, deploy and oversee various marketing initiatives and branding efforts
to achieve the long- and short-term organizational goals. Working closely with the CEO and EVP of Logistics, you will define positioning and messaging around GoFor’s product offerings and establish an operational and tactical plan that can be executed by the Director of Marketing.
You will need to implement, manage and measure GoFor’s marketing strategy for optimal performance and results through channel, segment and market strategies. Working with internal stakeholders you will plan, create, and launch creative campaigns and compelling stories around GoFor announcements and initiatives that resonate with audiences.
With a customer centric approach, you will build and enhance recognition of the GoFor brand and product offering.
