Summary of the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, the Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect has overall responsibility of developing, maintaining, and governing comprehensive IT architectures, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
As Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will serve various clients with distinct infrastructure requisites, delivering consultative and advisory services. You will work on diverse projects and be responsible for designing and managing cloud infrastructure solutions, creating plans that consider scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. You will implement various technologies, choose appropriate cloud services, and prioritize security, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and effective cloud operations.
In this hands-on position, you will drive the resolution of gaps and deficiencies in solution designs, ensuring that technology solutions are robust and effective. Prioritizing being at the forefront of the technology industry by researching and analyzing industry and market trends will be integral to your role. You will provide objective and impartial technology and application assessments to support informed decision-making. Additionally, you will play a critical role in developing, reviewing, and approving IT Architecture procedures and documentation, ensuring clarity and alignment with best practices.
Financial acumen remains central as you develop well-structured cost estimates and businesscases based on objective data to support proposals, ensuring alignment with the organization’sfinancial objectives.
Beyond the technical aspects, you will represent the company both internally and externally at key stakeholder events, leveraging your expertise and fostering valuable relationships. You will adeptly present IT strategies and roadmaps to senior audiences, creating audience-appropriate collateral and utilizing communication tools to convey complex ideas. Mentorship will also be a significant aspect of your role as you collaborate with and support team members in their skill development, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Moreover, you will lead specific governance processes to ensure effective oversight of strategies and plans, incorporating all relevant inputs into key decision-making.
