Skills & Experience
An industry veteran with a strong understanding of asset allocation, investment strategies and financial markets.
Track record of success working in institutional/buy-side sales, partnering with institutional investors, plan sponsors and investment consultants.
Self-motivated, consultative, strategic, and have a proven ability to work with senior clients and influence decision-makers.
A hunter that has the ability to push aggressively to grow revenue when needed, but also the focus on the lucrative, long-term client relationships.
Natural curiosity for understanding what the client really needs and providing a bespoke solution will set you apart from your peers.

Summary of the Role
A unique opportunity to take on a senior, institutional sales role within the Money Management Sales Team, concentrating on the Canadian institutional investor community.
Based out of Toronto, the Director’s main focus will be sales with asset managers, hedge funds, insurance and sell-side firms. You will be tasked with growing sales from a significant revenue base of existing clients through the cross selling of new products, the implementation of their global commercial policy, and of course, you will be working to add new clients as well as developing and maintaining those key relationships.
FTSE Russell has implemented a key account strategy and in Canada there are six major financial institutions under this remit. This is a highly visible role in the company, where you will have exposure to several key accounts and will be given the opportunity to take control over two of those accounts. In addition, you will be provided with an active client list that has the ability to make up 80% of your annual revenue target, with the balance coming from your ability to win, cultivate and leverage new accounts.
