Skills & Experience

Background

You have experience creating and executing marketing campaigns utilizing tactics that include live events, thought-leadership content, webinars, digital campaigns and social media

Experience

5+ years creating and executing product marketing strategy within a major systems integrator, professional service providers or Enterprise SaaS companies in the public sector

Expert Level Experience

You will ideally have experience marketing to public sector health and/or defence clients

Summary of the Role

Reporting to the Head of Public Sector, Canada, you will be responsible for the development and execution of a marketing and communications strategy which will support the organization’s go-to-market success in Canada by driving lead generation, opportunities, pipeline and revenue.

In order to achieve this success, you will work closely with sales and marketing teams to build out a comprehensive marketing plan to reach the organization’s target customers and drive demand through events, traditional lead generation campaigns, and other integrated marketing programs in Canada. This will involve significant collaboration with the organization’s US and Europe-based teams for Demand Generation, Events, Communications, and Product Marketing. You will develop tactics that enable you to effectively educate the market and targeted stakeholders on the organization’s product offerings. To do this, you will play a diverse set of roles, from crafting original content to defining the audience marketing strategy that will be employed for your broader team.

You will be expected to keep up to date with the organization’s software products so that you can effectively message their features, their value, and the emergent transformation they provide to their current and potential clients. You will also be expected to calibrate a room of peers and stakeholders to achieve alignment and pull levers to generate revenue. You will be accountable for and propel the flow of leads to support the sales team’s goals, creating a cadence of regular reporting to track and measure ROI in the process.

You will build a deep knowledge of the product and its real-world applicability, arming you with the tools you will need to effectively cultivate strategies. You will need to be fluid in your approach, tailoring and pivoting your technique as needed to align with the market and the organization’s overall growth strategy.
