Summary of the Role
Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, the IT Architect plays a vital role in developing, maintaining, and governing IT architectures to support the organization’s objectives.
As an IT Architect, you will collaborate with key business stakeholders to contribute and influence business strategies. You will research and analyze technology, industry, and market trends, delivering objective assessments to support client’s with informed decision-making.Your responsibilities include developing, reviewing, and approving IT Architecture procedures and documentation while deploying and supporting various technologies. You will additionally participate in the creation of cost estimates and business cases based on objective data to support proposals, aligning with the organization’s financial objectives.
You will focus on driving the resolution of gaps and deficiencies in solution designs while also being responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining data centre infrastructure.There will be a specific emphasis on VMware virtualization, NSX, enterprise networking, and backup solutions.
Beyond the technical aspects you will act as an ambassador for the company both internally and externally at key stakeholder events.
