Summary of the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, with a dotted line to the business development driven President, the Director of Marketing will be the linchpin between business development, sales, estimating and the customer service department.

As the Director of Marketing, you will direct website traffic, oversee social media initiatives, and target customer and business leads. You will be charged with further developing the existing dedicated processes to capture and enhance the customer experience. You will create different processes that engage new customers whilst also keeping a pulse on existing clients in the sales cycle. You will be tasked with developing creative marketing campaigns that will promote the business and increase brand awareness across various digital platforms. Along with developing marketing campaigns that promote the company, you will spearhead brand awareness within and around the digital arena.

Using SEO, PPC, and other techniques you will drive traffic to company pages and generate interest in company products and services. This is inclusive of creating engaging written, graphic, and video content while staying upto- date on the latest marketing technologies and social media. You will be responsible for managing the company website, ensuring all content is streamlined with other online platforms. Your in-depth forecasting and analyses of marketing campaigns will be key in measuring the success of each initiative.

This role demands equal strategic planning and implementation skills. It is expected that you will create short and long term marketing plans that tie in with the existing sales cycle and future growth aspirations of the company. There is ample opportunity and support to utilize the available software and programs to drive the company’s brand and messaging. This role demands that you have a deep understanding and background in digital marketing as the industry shifts from sole reliance on trade shows to online formats. The ability to package and translate highly technical information will be valued from the first day.
