Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably with a focus in marketing and communications.
7+ Years of Experience
You bring at least 7 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record for creating and executing successful marketing strategies.
You would consider yourself in expert in written communications (articles, blogs, guides, email messaging and more).
Marketing Analytics & ROI
Ability to create processes to collect data, analyze, report on marketing metrics and calculate ROI on marketing initiatives.
Experience with all facets of digital marketing including social media, email marketing, PPC, SEO, lead generation and more.
Experience with personal branding and thought leadership activities for industry experts and leaders.
Summary of the Role
The Director of Marketing is responsible for the strategy and programs implemented to create interest, demand and recognition. You will be leading and contributing to projects that drive revenue growth, client acquisition, brand awareness, thought leadership and community involvement. These responsibilities include the development and management of both B2B and B2C marketing campaigns aimed to optimize the ROI of the group’s marketing initiatives. This role is critical to the success of Gifford Carr and you will be responsible for creating the marketing plan to optimize performance of the marketing budget, strategy, execute the tactics and report on metrics.
This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all marketing functions to achieve the company objective of sales, growth, profits, and visibility while ensuring the marketing message and positioning is consistent with the corporate direction. This position will closely align with business leaders to accomplish corporate objectives.
You will have a focus on creating a marketing strategy for both B2B and B2C product lines, content creation (articles, blogs, email and newsletter messaging, guides, webinars, etc.), and digital marketing (lead generation, email marketing, social media marketing, PPC and more).
