Building upon its reputation as a real estate company that builds and manages their own assets, Dymon has expanded its portfolio of business to include high-end wine cellaration service, custom closets and kitchens, as well as personal or business storage offerings.

Skills & Experience

Background

Thorough understanding of construction and design and find it easy to build connections with vendors and others in the construction and renovation industry

Management Experience

Experience putting together business plans, building processes throughout a team and managing your own profits and losses of your department

Revenue Driving

Track record of generating and executing on sales within the construction and/or design space

Guest-Centric

True understanding of exceptional customer services and knack for building connections with others

Experience

5+ years in the kitchen and closet industry and a post secondary education in business or marketing

Entrepreneurial

Strategic and operational skills that help you lead the daily tasks of the department as if it’s your own business

Summary of the Role

In this hands-on role, you will work closely with designers, project managers, contractors and installers throughout the lifespan of each project, and focus on brand development.

Dymon has created a unique and turn-key experience to Kitchen and Closet design. This adaptable business entity has progressed to be able to offer renovations and millwork side by side. As a business, the Dymon Kitchen and Closet team spearheads renovation, design, delivery installation, and mill work in-house; creating an innovative business model that sets them apart.

Reporting to the Vice President of Kitchens, Closets & More (KCM) , you will assist in the development of the Kitchen and Closets business of Dymon. Under your supervision you will have a team of project managers and designers, that you will grow into a team of 10-15 highly skilled and driven individuals. As the Director of Kitchens, Closets & More you will actively develop a one, three and five year business strategy for the department, while working closely with the VP of Dymon Capital and the VP of KCM to place the organization on a path to success. In this position, you would have direct access to working with the purchasing and marketing team, with a strong influence on materials purchased and how each new project is marketed. As the Director of Kitchens and Closets, you will travel to different project locations to ensure that each project detail achieves the Dymon luxury standard.

Building the brand of Dymon Kitchens and Closets would be a primary focus of this position. As the Director of KCM, your entrepreneurial spirit will help you build out the business portfolio, build connections and grow the business as if it was your own. Building a strong team of designers and project managers will be the key part of the success of your department. You will work very closely with the project managers and design team to accurately quote each project and successfully navigate guest expectations and timelines. While this role does require exceptional sales and networking capabilities, the guest experience with each project continues to lay at the forefront of success as an organization. Through nurturing guest relationships and strategically networking, you will work to develop the Dymon Kitchen and Closet brand into the market leader that it is projected to be.
