Skills & Experience
7+ years' experience in executive search or contingent recruiting with a proven track record in leading senior level searches for private sector clients
You will have a University degree within a relevant field that afforded you the opportunity to develop your strength in communication and research
Transparent, accountable and professional individual who can balance the responsibilities of the role with your ability to enjoy the day-to-day with your team
Experienced in leading small teams and you are excited by the prospect of mentoring and developing a team under your leadership
Summary of the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you will play a critical role in ensuring that client search projects are delivered to the highest standard.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage senior-level search projects from start to finish by engaging with clients and working internally with the Keynote Search team to recruit and market to executive candidates. While leading a diverse portfolio of projects, you will also be responsible for leading, mentoring and developing the team of associates under yourself.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team from a variety of backgrounds that strives to achieve a singular goal – to become the best executive search firm in Canada. As a member of the Keynote Search team, you will have direct contact with clients and be given the autonomy to manage your own projects and resources. With a high degree of business intelligence and a focus on concierge-level service, you will liaise with both clients and candidates as you source, evaluate, interview and ultimately recommend people for business-critical hires.
In addition to direct contact with high-profile clients, you will be encouraged and given the space to engage in your own business development activities to establish yourself as one of Toronto’s elite executive search consultants. As an expert in the Toronto market, you will leverage your industry knowledge and connections to develop and liaise with potential clients. Your expertise will be integral to the successful execution of Toronto’s growth strategy in this new market, especially when it comes to increasing Keynote’s presence and notability.
