Martello’s digital experience monitoring (DEM) solutions provide monitoring and analytics on the performance and user experience of critical cloud business applications while giving IT teams and service providers control and visibility of their entire IT infrastructure. Their products include the recently launched award-winning Vantage DX single platform DEM solution for Microsoft 365 and Teams user experience optimization. Martello recently joined Microsoft’s elite and invitation-only Global Solutions Alliance Program to work alongside Microsoft customers and partners with actionable data on the performance and user experience of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365.
Skills & Experience
Background
started your career in public accounting, or risen up through mid size private or public companies and benefit from a strong understanding of tax, audit and developing and interpreting complex models and reporting
Experience
Strong experience within the SaaS or a similar industry, and will have been a VP of Finance and ideally most recently a CFO within a publicly-traded organization
Strategic / Technical
Comfortable balancing complex strategic responsibilities with the need to pitch in with your team wherever is needed
Navigate Relationships
Your ability to expertly navigate investor relations and report to a diverse and dedicated board will be of the utmost importance
Leadership
Collaborative and supportive while priding yourself on your ability to have the difficult business conversations when needed, especially when it comes to mitigating risk and managing timelines

Summary of the Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this is an opportunity for the Chief Financial Officer to influence and drive the strategic direction of the company.
You will play a pivotal role in the organization’s growth and financial prosperity. You will be expected to identify opportunities for optimization within the current financial processes and governance. You will work with the CEO and the senior leadership team to support the evolution of Martello’s business model to meet the needs of expanded operations. This is a core leadership role, where you would have responsibility over multiple direct reports, and will be expected to continue to scale your team as the organization continues to grow.
Martello sees the CFO as a key voice at the table, bringing with them not only their experience from past successes but also an ability to plan the next strategic moves as an organization. Once you are up to speed in your new role, it will be a critical part of your mandate to take a step back and look holistically at the company’s financial position in order to propose suggestions that will be beneficial and efficient in the long-term through internal and external investment opportunities. Your ability to interpret and effectively communicate complex financial information and strategy will be of the utmost importance, in terms of liaising and presenting to the board, as well as being a critical leader and spokesperson when it comes to investor relations.
