Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience working within digital marketing, coupled with a relevant academic background
With account-based marketing, data analytics tools, social media platforms, and marketing measurement platforms
You have been responsible for building and overseeing teams and have developed a strength for leading through a combination of collaboration and delegation
You understand marketing operations, and have previously used analytics, KPIs and dashboards to speak a language beyond “number of clicks”, effectively translating those numbers into a clear ROI
Familiar working with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce/Pardot, Hubspot or Marketo
Expert-level in PPC/SEM, display and social media ad platform mastery (Google AdWords, Bing Ads, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook Ads)
Summary of the Role
Reporting into the Vice President of Global Marketing, the Senior Digital Marketing Resource will lead ORBCOMM’s digital marketing efforts, taking responsibility for the entire marketing funnel, lead generation, management, conversion, and marketing automation tools.
As a key member of the marketing leadership team, your role will take on a true blend of strategic and tactical hands-on work. It is expected that you will be able to hit the ground running, driving the digital strategy and roadmap, outlining clear objectives, exploring new market opportunities and channel specific KPIs to support the ORBCOMM’s growth across diverse industry verticals and geographies.
You will be given the opportunity to take a lead role in identifying required digital spend to support new customer acquisition objectives. In addition, you will develop and execute on a digital marketing vision and strategy focused on generating demand, leads, pipeline and revenue. You will own the digital strategies to support customer acquisition across various digital marketing channels, including organic search, paid search, social/paid social, SEO, email marketing, blog, drift, and more. On the same note, you will work to increase advertising reach by optimizing existing channels and identifying new digital opportunities. In conjunction with the Product Marketing and Content teams, you will drive to optimize website content, conversion rates and site engagement. Additionally, you will take buyer/influencer personas and employ account-based marketing techniques to build highly targeted audiences, gain awareness and leverage the full potential of our addressable market.
This is a leadership role, where you will manage a team of two Digital Marketing Specialists, and work in collaboration with Product Marketing, Content, and Sales teams to translate strategic objectives into geo-specific, market-specific, and compelling customer-facing campaigns. You will also act as a key stakeholder to work across a variety of teams, including those mentioned, as well as executives, IT and IS groups, as well as external marketing partners.
Finally, you will manage the group’s monthly budget, and develop and manage reporting dashboards to provide high-level updates and detailed analysis for campaign and program optimization. Dashboards are an incredibly important aspect of this role, and you will be tasked with developing key metrics and KPIs that demonstrate efficacy and ROI.
