Summary of the Role
As a Principal, you will be responsible for all facets of deal sourcing and portfolio management of enterprise software, B2B SaaS, marketplace and IoT start-up companies. A career in early stage VC is ever-evolving and will call on your flexibility to effectively balance your time in an environment that is relentlessly busy by nature. You will be heavily involved at all stages of company building and must be as comfortable crunching the numbers as you are developing executive relationships. As a Principal, you will be responsible for all facets of deal sourcing and portfolio management for enterprise software, B2B SaaS, marketplace and IoT start-up companies. You will play a key role in the development of investment theses, deal sourcing, ongoing market and financial modelling, company due diligence, competitive analyses and insight on potential investment opportunities. You will be required to closely monitor and report on the performance of the portfolio, acting as a trusted resource to the entrepreneurs that you support.
