Skills & Experience
Background
To excel in this role, you will need a strong background in sales, with at least 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership, ideally with Hero Care’s target audience.
Experience
Experience working in entrepreneurial or growth-stage organizations will be a significant asset, as it demonstrates your ability to adapt quickly and excel under pressure, and operate effectively with a lean internal structure.

Summary of the Role
Reporting to the Chief Business Officer and Co-Founder, the Director of Sales will be instrumental in developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy for the business. In this role, you will focus on expanding the company’s reach by identifying and securing new client opportunities, particularly within hospitals, long-term care facilities, and retirement communities across Canada and the United States. By leveraging existing relationships and establishing new connections, you will play a crucial role in increasing market presence and driving revenue growth.
In addition to client acquisition, you will enhance current systems and processes to optimize operational efficiency. This includes refining the sales funnel, improving lead generation strategies, and implementing effective marketing campaigns.
As the primary sales leader, you will also lay the groundwork for building a future sales team by setting clear targets and KPIs, mentoring team members, and establishing a culture of accountability and performance. Your effective leadership and strategic vision will position Hero Care for long-term success, contributing to the organization’s aspirations for profitability and growth in a highly competitive market.
