The West Ottawa Soccer Club (WOSC) was formed in 2010 through the merger of two local soccer organizations: the Goulbourn Soccer Club and Kanata Soccer Club. This merger aimed to unify resources and create better opportunities for soccer players in the west-end communities of Ottawa. From the beginning, WOSC has focused on providing high-quality soccer programs for players of all ages and skill levels while emphasizing long-term player development and fostering a strong sense of community.
Since its creation, WOSC has experienced significant growth in both membership and program offerings. A major milestone came in 2014 when the club became a charter member of the Ontario Provincial Development League (OPDL), solidifying its reputation as an organization committed to soccer excellence. Now nationally licensed, WOSC is supported by a skilled team of staff and coaches dedicated to fostering player development and promoting a positive sports culture.
