Skills & Experience
Leadership

Analysis & Technical
You will have gained valuable experience in providing detailed analysis and commentary. You are familiar with elevating the success of organizations through the implementation of efficient processes, internal controls and systems.
Background
You bring a strong technical, full-cycle and multi-entity accounting background from your tenure in public accounting and/or experience working within various industries.
Accounting Software
You have experience with accounting software implementation, specifically Yardi or other.
Summary of the Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will manage the day to day accounting operations of the organization in order to succinctly provide business critical data and analytics to ensure they maximize its success as an organization. As the Operations Controller, you will deliver on all full cycle day-to-day accounting needs but with a clear focus on providing both expeditious financial snapshots upon request and detailed management reports. You will take full ownership of all monthly finance tasks and the processes that drive toward the completion of them. Ultimately, you will alleviate the Director of Finance from their current involvement in the day-to-day financial responsibilities so that they can focus on supporting leadership with their strategic decision making.
This is a leadership role, where you will be given the opportunity to lead a small team of three individuals. You will play a critical role in the reporting and analysis of accurate data which will allow for the senior leadership team to make well-informed decisions regarding future ventures and growth. Your role will be fast paced, complex and challenging in nature and will call on your ability to pivot between the diverse entities’ financials on a routine basis.
