Summary of the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Vice President of Sales will be responsible for driving the revenue strategy and growth for Food Cycle Science’s household division. With a comprehensive product range that addresses multiple market segments, including Municipal Sales, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) initiatives in North America, and International Sales Expansion, the potential for growth and market penetration is substantial.

As VP, you will oversee all revenue-generating and marketing functions within the company. This role involves supporting the development but critically leading the execution of strategic plans to enhance revenue across all existing and potential channels, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term objectives. You will be tasked with refining and innovating sales processes and systems, establishing a unified strategy to expand market share and improve customer acquisition and retention. Additional refinement to pipelines and forecasts to improve team performance and predictability will ensure that each sales channel is optimized for maximum efficiency.

As a sales leader, you will lead from the front and be the top salesperson in the business, taking an active role in client management, ensuring that top partners and customers receive direct executive support and engagement. This involvement will be crucial in maintaining high client satisfaction and optimizing strategic account management, particularly in international markets.

You will also be responsible for the development of robust reporting frameworks that provide detailed insights into sales performance, market dynamics, and business opportunities.  You will leverage these insights to inform and guide decisions, enhancing productivity through advanced CRM tools and developing a deep understanding of the competitive landscape. Your leadership will extend to mentoring and guiding the sales team, building on a culture of performance and results-oriented success. You will ensure that strategic initiatives are closely aligned with operational capabilities and that the organization’s revenue streams are optimized for both immediate gains and sustainable growth.

As a senior leader, you will collaborate closely with the CEO and CFO, ensuring that revenue strategies not only reflect the company’s vision but also act diligently and efficiently to advance Food Cycle Science’s position as a leader in the sustainable food waste management industry.
