Boasting 21 runs, including 16 for night skiing, 4 chairlifts and 2 carpet lifts, the resort caters to skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels, providing them with a fantastic winter sports experience. To further enhance the skiing and snowboarding opportunities, Mont Cascades offers a comprehensive snow school program, including the renowned Nancy Greene racing program, a race club, private lessons, seasonal programs, and holiday camps.

Summary of the Role

Reporting to the CFO of Mont Cascades’ parent company, ProSlide Technology Inc., a pioneer in the major water ride industry, the General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations while executing the long-term strategy.

In this key leadership role, you will be tasked with planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the financial, material, and human resources related to the organization, including both ski and waterpark operations, the guest experience, and food and beverage. You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic and operational plans, with direct oversight of the full profit and loss, marketing, and all other corporate operations.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience by maintaining a keen focus on customer preferences and feedback. Possessing the ability to quickly pivot, you will be required to take decisive action and make well-informed decisions to best serve customers, enhance overall satisfaction, and ensure customer retention. Driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of exceptional service delivery will be paramount, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and continuously improving the guest experience.

Leveraging your business acumen, you will be responsible for analyzing the organization’s operations to identify opportunities for optimization and increased efficiencies, while also considering future potential and innovation.
