Your background includes operations management, industrial engineering, and production processes, where you have demonstrated the ability to thrive amid uncertainty, leveraging volatility to your advantage.

Engineering Skills

Your project management and industrial engineering skills will be invaluable as you complete the installations of the new facility.

Experience

You have held a management or director-level role in a mid-sized organization within manufacturing and production sectors such as commodity production, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing.

Business Acumen

You bring strong business acumen and working knowledge of the financial aspects of running a business unit.

Autonomy

You will exercise a high degree of autonomy over the success, growth and sustainability of the new facility.

Leadership

Summary of the Role

Element5 is seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead the launch and rollout of its newly expanded, stateof-the-art facility, playing a pivotal role in driving exponential growth. Reporting to the VP of Engineering and Operations, the Director of Manufacturing will establish and oversee the operational framework necessary for success.

In this role, You will develop and implement streamlined processes to ensure that production runs efficiently, meeting both high-quality standards and output targets. Beyond operations, you will manage budgeting and financial performance, ensuring the facility operates within its financial parameters while achieving revenue goals.

You will also have the opportunity to build and develop a skilled workforce leading the hiring, training, and talent development efforts to operate the new facility, capable of adapting to the evolving demands of the growing organization. Your leadership will create a culture of safety and continuous improvement, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere, critical to both individual and collective success.

As a key leader within Element5, you will serve as a liaison between various departments, including engineering, quality assurance, and sales to align operational capabilities with market demands. Ultimately, your expertise and strategic oversight will be instrumental in positioning the facility as a leader in Glulam production, driving growth, sustainability, and long-term success.
