Tanya Ironstone Locke appointed Executive Director at Child Welfare League of Canada

Keynote Search is pleased to announce the appointment of Tanya Ironstone Locke as the Executive Director at the Child Welfare League of Canada.
Tanya has a demonstrated background in working with marginalized people and non-profit organizations, and will continue the CWLC’s important work of defending the rights of vulnerable children, promoting their well-being in the areas of child welfare and protection, youth justice and mental health. She will strengthen CWLC’s efforts to ensure that the needs of families are taken into account, and consolidate the capacity of communities to respond to the needs of children and their parents, especially with respect to Indigenous, immigrant, and refugee children and families.

“Tanya is an exceptionally driven and empathetic leader who, throughout her career, has balanced the important roles of both facilitator and advocate. We look forward to watching the impact Tanya and the CWLC team have as they drive towards tremendous change in the protection and uplifting of the lives of children and families across Canada. ” – Heather Darling, Managing Partner, Ottawa at Keynote Search

About the Child Welfare League of Canada
