The Future of Work and Immigration Learning Exchange on March 11, 2020 at National Arts Centre featured a number of topics and explored how disruptive technologies are enhancing connectivity, new methods of seeking and retaining talent, and changing the nature of work. The gig economy, artificial intelligence, and big data are augmenting the workforce and radically changing how work is done. Over a 100 business, government, civic leaders, human resources professionals and subject matter experts joined in a dialogue about these issues and how to effectively include skilled immigrants in the workforce, and to celebrate employer excellence in Ottawa.
