To support this next stage of growth, Raymond EMC is seeking a Vice President of Operations. This newly created executive role represents a deliberate investment in leadership capability and will help translate the company’s strategic goals into a more mature operating model. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing the processes, leadership practices, and organizational structure required to support multi-site operations and cross-border delivery while maintaining the agility and quality that define Raymond EMC.

Summary of the Role
As Vice President of Operations, you will serve as the senior executive responsible for bringing together Engineering, the Project Management Office, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Production into a more integrated business function. Your focus will be on creating the operational discipline required to consistently deliver client commitments safely, profitably, and predictably while reducing reliance on heroic effort.
A key part of your mandate will be strengthening the management processes that align sales demand, engineering capacity, procurement requirements, production capability, and financial expectations. You will lead the company’s Sales & Operations Planning process, creating greater visibility between project commitments and the resources required to deliver them successfully. This role requires a leader who can improve decision-making, establish an effective operating rhythm, and ensure teams are aligned around shared business priorities.
As Raymond EMC continues to expand, you will help guide the transition from a founder-led Canadian engineering organization into a multi-site business with increasing international reach. This will require building the structures and leadership practices needed to support growth while protecting the quality, responsiveness, and entrepreneurial mindset that have made the company successful. The challenge will be creating greater consistency and accountability without adding unnecessary complexity.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for strengthening the leadership capability across the operations function. Working closely with the executive team, you will mentor and develop leaders while helping the organization identify future constraints and opportunities before they become challenges. By bringing experience from organizations that have successfully navigated growth and complexity, you will help Raymond EMC continue its evolution while maintaining the culture and values that have shaped the business.
