Summary of the Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Residential Management, the Director of Property Management is responsible for the effective daily operations, performance, and staff leadership of Osgoode’s residential property portfolio. This role ensures the successful execution of corporate strategies at the property level, promotes high levels of resident satisfaction, and drives occupancy, revenue optimization, and service excellence.

As Director, you will build and support regional and site-level capacity while enforcing organizational standards, compliance, and financial targets. In the early stages, your focus will be on overseeing core operational functions, including tenant communications, vendor coordination, leasing oversight, and liaising with the capital and legal teams. This hands on involvement will allow you to develop a deep understanding of the portfolio and team dynamics, while preparing to assume broader regional leadership responsibilities. As a proactive, energetic, and hands-on leader, you will utilize your expertise to execute strategies, mitigate operational challenges, and elevate property management practices across the organization. Through your approachable leadership style, you will mentor your team and create a collaborative environment where employees can comfortably seek your counsel.

You will oversee and ensure appropriate policies, procedures, and best practices are in place to drive high performance across the portfolio. You will continuously evaluate the effectiveness of property management functions and advocate for potential opportunities for enhancement. You will oversee budgeting processes, leasing performance, compliance, and team development to ensure operational excellence is achieved.
