Skills & Experience
Experience
Your experience owning multiple P&L’s and driving revenue growth in complex organizations will be essential.
Analytical
Analytical and metrics-driven, you use data to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
Background
Familiarity with Canadian aviation regulations, emergency management frameworks, and fire life safety protocols will be an asset.
Proven Track-Record
You bring a strong track record in senior operational leadership and commercial strategy, ideally within aviation, emergency management, or public sector consulting environments.
Collaboration
This role requires close collaboration with the three business unit leaders to integrate strategic planning, resource allocation, and service delivery, ensuring all parts of the organization move cohesively towards shared goals.

Summary of the Role
The Commercial Director is a pivotal senior leadership role responsible for steering revenue growth and operational excellence across Loomex’s core divisions—Airports, Response and Readiness, and Explorer Solutions. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, you will lead business development efforts, operational performance, and client relationship management to drive profitability and long-term success. You will formulate and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that align with the company’s overall vision and growth targets.
This role requires close collaboration with the three business unit leaders to integrate strategic planning, resource allocation, and service delivery, ensuring all parts of the organization move cohesively towards shared goals. You will oversee the development of performance measurement systems, setting key performance indicators and establishing reporting frameworks to track divisional progress and outcomes. A core responsibility will be identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities across North America while managing risks and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
You will champion a culture of innovation and operational discipline, empowering teams to exceed client expectations and continuously improve service quality. Your leadership will be critical to fostering cross-functional collaboration, nurturing talent, and driving initiatives that support the organization’s mission of enhancing public safety and resilience.
