Summary of the Role
Reporting to the Director of Member Representation, the Local Area Representative (LAR) Program Manager provides oversight and leadership of the Local Area Representative program and team. This role is responsible for driving program success and operational excellence across three regions.
The LAR Program Manager ensures the effective implementation of program initiatives, including LAR roster management, training and development, governance event coordination, and election facilitation.
The LAR Program Manager will provide operational guidance to LARs, collaborate closely with the Member Services Committee to align program priorities with organizational goals, and oversee the continuous improvement of all LAR-related processes and services. This role will also monitor the quality of file work, manage training programs, and ensure the delivery of consistent and effective support to Members.
The LAR Program Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the NPF’s mission by building a structured and well-supported program that addresses the needs of LARs and Members. This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead a critical program within an evolving, mission-driven organization.
