Skills & Experience

15+ Years Experience Track record of successfully managing construction projects (emphasis on corporate commercial interiors)
Full Cycle Leadership Experience overlooking from planning and execution of the projects
Technical Knowledge Microsoft Project or similar tool
Large Project Experience You have a successful track record of managing large projects in the $15M+ range
Extensive Project Knowledge Project budgets and schedules, contract documentation, monitoring costs, and implementing policy and procedures
Leadership Experience Thrive on the idea of and have experience building dynamic teams around you

Summary of Role

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be reporting directly to the VP of Project Delivery Services. This position calls on your ability to apply the skills and knowledge that you have accumulated throughout the past fifteen to twenty years in order to professionally represent MARANT, as you work towards successfully managing the desired project outcomes and client relationships. You will also be responsible for managing the performance of the entirety of your project team, including your Project Coordinator. Your broad scope of responsibilities will include all aspects of a project life span including, but not limited to the following: Planning, start-up documents and permits, scheduling, cost management (budgeting and accounting), estimates, compliance, quality management, and contract administration. You will work closely with a variety of in-house staff to ensure that project construction is executed in a timely, efficient, cost-effective and customer-centered manner while maintaining the integrity of the design.

At the end of your first year, the first measurement is easy to state but hugely challenging to deliver – leading your projects on time and on budget. You will have also implemented internal processes that you firmly believe can further assist MARANT in meeting their development goals. You will have earned the respect of your colleagues and built lasting relationships, allowing all parties to be highly successful. You will also have built strong relationships with your customers, paving the road for new business..
