Euro’s proven success with their award-winning 12,000 sq. ft showroom in Ottawa, has made it a business-critical decision to expand their brand into the Toronto marketplace. Taking the fundamental learnings from building Ottawa’s leading floor coverings business, they are looking to scale up and have secured a 17,000 sq. ft showroom plus on-site distribution center in the heart of Toronto’s Design District in the Yorkdale area. This expansion allows them to dramatically increase their footprint in eastern Canada as well as strengthen already strong relationships among existing and prospective international suppliers. Skills & Experience

Operations Experience You will be someone who likes being involved with the day to day operations, part of the client experience and the team leader for all parts of the business.
Store/Branch Launch You will have likely opened or been involved with the launch of a store/branch, with both commercial and retail experience.
A&D Industry Exposure Ideally, you will have a deep-rooted knowledge of the flooring, design or home décor market, in the mid to high-end market space.
Leadership You will have built, led and managed teams that are delivering superior customer experience in a high-value product environment
Business Acumen You will be able to break down this massive undertaking into manageable projects with clear KPI’s and metrics to help you adjust, adapt and improve as you gain market share.
Industry Connections You will also have pre-existing relationships with and connections to architectural, design and/or builders in the Toronto marketplace.

Summary of Role

As the Regional Manager for Toronto, you will take full operational ownership for the P&L, team and customer experience. This includes growing commercial account sales while building and leading an inside showroom sales team geared towards servicing high-end retail customers. When a business expands into a new market it is essential to bring in new leaders with fresh and innovative ideas, perspectives and proven expertise. This is an exciting journey, from implementing the final touches of the pre-launch plan and location preparation, through the recruitment of your team, launch marketing promotions, post-launch customer engagement and acquisition. Toronto is an immense, yet complex market and as the market leader, you will ensure your business is positioned appropriately to engage, attract and retain customers from the core customer segments.
