Skills & Experience

Project Management Experience Preferably with an engineering background who has worked as a project manager.
Creative Thinker Can conceptualize taking an older asset and making it fresh and attractive in an evolving market.
Strong Leader Can empower staff to make good decisions and supports their growth and development.
Relationship Builder Equally comfortable with trades and designers as well as tenants, staff and the senior management.
Knowledge of Building Systems From HVAC, to exterior cladding, to behind the wall, you have a firm knowledge and command of the interworking of each system.
Risk Mitigation Respectful of the budget and able to prioritize urgent needs accordingly while never exposing the business to risk.

Summary of Role

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the Project Manager maximizes building performance through focused awareness and an understanding of current market conditions impacting each location.

The role requires extensive knowledge in building systems and all components of each building. As a project manager you will be required to maintain capital project data, oversee project timelines, maintain and oversee relationships with business partners and contractors, and create long term plans for each building. You will utilize budget allowances and determine adjustments as necessary to ensure each building is operating at its best possible potential at all times and capital projects are completed on time. As a senior leader you will be required to coach and motivate staff to ensure they understand their roles and are successful in executing their mandates.

The Project Manager is a highly visible, integral part of daily success and will represent our client’s brand publicly and is ultimately responsible for upholding the mission and integrity of the company.
