Summary of Role

As the project manager, you take full oversight and control of a range of projects. Based on the complexity of which, you will be handed 2 to 4 projects and have the full support of a project coordinator and excellent crew on site. As a smaller GC, you will have the chance to bid and estimate on projects, while also having the flexibility to look at new projects through relationship development. Projects can range from a quick office refresh project to a complete teardown and new construction work.

You will be held to account for your responsibilities but not micromanaged or critiqued at every turn. Through the recent family transition, there is a freshness to their thinking, new technology implementations and increased documentation and reporting. You will be expected to embrace these tools and help others less familiar develop their own skills. Your results will determine your success and you will be given full accountability for ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget. You will enjoy a balance between both project management and estimating, in addition to understanding the need to treat your employees in the right way, providing support to develop their skills for the longer-term success of everyone involved..
