Summary of Role

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and working in an integrated role with the entire marketing team, sales managers and product managers, the Product Marketing Manager will serve as a liaison between the various groups and focus on effectively promoting the numerous solutions that ORBCOMM offers.

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving and supporting the execution and communication of ORBCOMM’s key marketing strategies and promotions. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible to initiate, develop, manage and implement marketing strategies for ORBCOMM solutions, marketing programs, product launches, product branding and sell through strategies both directly and through channels. ORBCOMM’s next Product Marketing Manager must be a proficient content writer with the ability to digest technical products and draft thorough, yet concise, marketing materials to support their promotion. With a deep knowledge of the ORBCOMM technology, the Product Marketing Manager will become the marketing subject matter expert to position products and solutions in the market generating strategic marketing plans, content and programs for the company’s global client base.

This position will focus on developing strategic marketing content designed to bring the company’s service offerings to the marketplace to ensure that the right messaging is being used during product promotion and sales efforts. The Product Marketing Manager will work with industry analysts to properly present the marketing messaging and communications. In addition, this role will require some skillful competitive intelligence gathering and a critical eye for industry trends..
