Skills & Experience

Bachelor Degree Business, administration, marketing, communication or related field
Business Development Experience in agency, corporate or consulting environment
Project Management Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently
Leadership Experience managing a team, ideally also managing a business
Relevant Experience Marketing operations, agency management, decoupling marketing solutions
Client Service Client/customer relationship focused environment

Summary of Role

The Operations Manager is an integral member of the team and is crucial to the stability and growth of the organization. The role's focus is on driving the front end of the business supporting client relationships, driving business development, as well as planning and executing business operations to both improve and ensure productivity and efficiency with the goal of keeping the organization running smoothly and profitably. The Operations Manager will lead the team to ensure that all project elements are flowing in a timely, effective, and budget conscious fashion - whether internally (i.e. through the studio, on to programming, content development, etc.) or externally (i.e. through a third-party partner such as a printer). The Operations Manager can see both the big picture as well as the small details that make the business function. The Operations Manager is a key member of the management team, reporting to the President, who is committed to driving the success of the team and the business and does so through credibility, trust, and integrity.

At the end of the first year in the position, you will have developed a strong knowledge and understanding of the organization and business and will have become an integral part of our client's leadership team. You will understand the workings, structure, and culture of the business and will use this understanding to solve problems and achieve desired outcomes. You will have developed the trust of the President and will be a compliment to her leadership style and approach. You will have created and will be implementing an operations strategy that ensures a predictable project forecast and financial stability for the organization. You are recognized as an influencer, key contributor, and someone who can get things done as you can successfully leverage the support of the organization through the strong relationships and credibility you’ve built with the team. You will have established healthy relationships with clients and consistently embody the values of TRUEdotDESIGN. You skillfully lead your team and consistently demonstrate your commitment to the organization and to the team by taking a proactive and enthusiastic approach to client service and business development.
