Construction Experience Ideally with exposure working on a site

Summary of Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager and Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure proper documentation of building construction projects is maintained and to manage all submissions, changes and approvals. You will review plans, specifications and contracts and negotiate terms when required, and work with estimators and sub-contractors throughout the process. With a keen eye for detail, you will manage inspections and the test reporting process, including tracking issues, reviewing reports and submitting any relevant documentation. You will facilitate weekly site meetings, preparing and distributing the minutes and holding team members accountable.

At the end of your first year, your success will be measured by your ability to gain the trust of your colleagues and development of strong working relationships with estimators and sub-contractors. You will be supporting the progress of projects through detailed and thorough documentation and have developed a system to prioritize and organize your work. You will be fully immersed in the Lépine culture and handle your day-to-day tasks in a proactive and independent manner..
