Summary of Role

This a balanced role that will require you to effectively manage your time servicing, prospecting, networking and attending client meetings. You will be meeting with local prospects and building sales pipelines across various segments. This individual is responsible for the management of Euro Tile & Stone accounts within the distribution and architectural & design segments. It will be a high priority for this individual to ensure that their distribution customers have the product knowledge, sample boards and information required to successfully sell their lines. In addition, the Account Manager will showcase the significant value proposition and diversity of products to ensure Euro Tile & Stone gets specified on projects by designers & architects. You will be looking to surpass the competitors of Euro Tile & Stone, targeting key clients with a balanced value and service-based approach, backed by superior service and client management.

As this is a client facing role, you will have support on the proposal side, allowing you the autonomy to identify, target and close new customers. With over 60 active accounts, you will be spending the majority of your time working with a base of established, warm leads and existing customers. Ultimately, your engaging personality, detailed approach and meticulous attention will be critical success factors. You know that a ‘no’, is because you have not provided the right solution or uncovered the need yet. You are someone who wants to build sustained success from loyal customers. Earning someone’s trust and delivering on their needs is what makes you thrive.

You will report to the General Manager, an accomplished, composed and commercially astute gentleman that is 100% committed to evolving the sales team with you as a central figure. A successful candidate won’t hesitate to prove themselves, as ambition will be the first step to the creation of an exceptional career path, backed by market leading compensation. With a territory that stretches from Pembroke to Hudson, you will likely spend 3 days with distribution clients, 1 day with prospective A&D clients and the other day in the office of Euro Tile & Stone. In addition to a strong initial book of business, you will benefit from a car allowance, laptop, cell phone and a strong onboarding and training program.
