Skills & Experience

Experience A proven track record of working as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role for a minimum of 5 years.
Administrative Impact You are a detail oriented, energetic and personable “can-do” individual looking for an engaging environment.
Resourcefulness An aptitude to pivot quickly and the confidence to take on new challenges, which is balanced with the judgement to recognize when support is warranted.
Skills You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally have working knowledge of SharePoint.

Summary of the Role

Partnering with the President, the Chief Financial Officer and the Vice-President, the Executive Assistant works very closely with the senior executive team of the organization while ensuring efficiencies in the day-to-day operations of the executive office. As Executive Assistant, you will act as the main point of contact among senior executives, employees, clients and other external partners, demonstrating initiative, collaboration and professionalism at all times.

You will showcase a high level of discretion as you are privy to sensitive information within the organization. You will ensure that corporate policies and procedures are adhered to, while delivering a high quality of service to both internal and external clients and stakeholders. The business operations at Osgoode are multifaceted and as such, you will be expected to provide support to all areas of the business and manage a diverse range of documents and databases in an organized manner. You will complete documentation relating to acquisitions, financing and disposition of assets and, as you begin to understand the business on a deeper level, you will proactively bring items forward for action to the appropriate executive.

Your time will also be balanced with additional responsibilities and tasks that include but are not limited to the following: managing executives’ calendars and emails, scheduling internal and external meetings, and preparing agendas, correspondence, reports and presentations.

Your role is constantly evolving and expanding so it is imperative that you consistently lead with curiosity, a can-do mindset and an organized approach. You will be expected to complete regulatory, financial and legal documentation so attention to detail is essential..
