Brad Ezard Helps 100 Men Who Care Ottawa Raise $7,105 for Empathy House via Zoom

Our COO Brad Ezard, was a key figure in coordinating the 100 Men Who Care's first ever Zoom fundraising event on May 20, 2020. Thanks to the generosity of the members, 100 Men Who Care Ottawa raised $7,105 for Empathy House of Recovery – the largest amount they have ever raised for a single charity.

The funds raised have come at a time of unprecedented demand for the services of Empathy House, which provides residential treatment programs for women suffering from addiction and with a history of abuse, mental illness and other vulnerabilities. Empathy House is also confronted at this time with large, unexpected expenses for personal protective equipment and other pandemic-related outlays, and the efforts by 100 Men Who Care Ottawa will go a long way toward mitigating that worry.

Brad Ezard, acts as the Vice-Chair of 100 Men Who Care, and was key in organizing this unique digital fundraising event.

To date the 100 Men Who Care Ottawa organization has raised over $147,245 for local Ottawa charities.
